I LOVE this bag and get compliments on it all the time. It is the perfect size to fit my laptop and a few essentials for going to work (makeup bag, wallet, etc). Also has tons of pockets inside to organize my phone, business card holder, mints, etc.etc. The one thing I don't like it that it doesn't have feet on the bottom, so the corners are getting worn pretty quickly. I'm thinking I want to order a 2nd one right now for when this one gets too worn out. Also, I did have an issue ordering it from Amazon because they shipped the wrong color and then claimed the Camel color I wanted was no longer available. Long story short, they had me order it from Macy's and gave me a credit to cover the increase in price, so I was happy with the resolution of the issue. Thanks Amazon!

I ordered the Ettiene Aigner, Regal Leather Satchel in Black from Amazon.com/Macys.
The purse I received is actually a very dark brown with lighter brown stitching. The tag says "black" but when held up to other items the purse just isn't black. Also the purse I ordered and hoped to receive was an open bag at the top, whereas the purse I received had a zippered closure, is smaller, and is of a softer/less structured shape. In general it went from being a purse I liked to a purse that wasn't my style. As for the purse I received - I would not say the leather was "high quality." It's not cheap looking but neither is it luxurious. It's about what you should expect for a $125 purse.
Thinking that perhaps I made a mistake about the purse style that I ordered I went back to Amazon.com, did a search for "Ettiene Aigner, Regal Leather Satchel, Macys" and it took me to a page that featured a purse with an open top bag just as I remembered ordering. When I clicked on all the colors it showed an open top bag and when I clicked enlarge image it showed an open top bag in all the avaliable colors. There were 3 rave reviews and the ASIN number was B0011G7V40. The description says "open top" and "magnetic closure"
However, when I added it to my cart and then clicked on the link back to the bag from my cart it took me to a picture of a purse with a zip top bag. The site had the same 3 rave reviews that was pictured with the open top purse and the ASIN number was also B0011G7V40. Then as I began clicking on pictures of all the different colors the purse comes in I noticed that depending on which picture color you click on the purse is completely different. Sometimes its an open top and sometimes its a zip top. And if you click on enlarge image there is the same problem- some of the colors show a zip top bag and the others show an open bag. The description still says "open top" and "magnetic closure" even though the photo obviously shows a zippered top.
The reason I used amazon.com/macys in the first place is b/c the open top bag was sold out on the regular Macys.com in the color that I wanted. I went back to Macy.com and looked at the bag I wanted only in a different color. Turns out the bag with the open top is the Ettiene Aigner Regal Leather TOTE and the zippered top is the Ettiene Aigner Regal Leather SATCHEL.
Very long story short===Make sure you know what you are buying. Add the item to your cart and click on it again from your cart to see where it takes you. Open Top=Tote, Zipper Top=Satchel.
From now on I will stick with regular ol' Macys.com. I have submitted an "image feeback" to Amazon.com so hopefully they will correct the image problem for the website before any other customers get shipped the wrong item.

I absolutely love this purse. I was afraid that it would be too big but its perfect. I love the color and I've been complimented on it. I want to buy the same purse in black too. There is plenty of room on the inside and enough pockets.

This purse was very high quality and I loved the style, but it was much larger than I expected, so I had to return it. Would love to purchase one in a smaller size.

The photo does not do this bag any justice. I just bought it from Macy's, because I couldn't restrain myself. It's simply beautiful. The leather is soft and great durable quality. There are plenty of compartments and outside pockets to organize your stuff. The handles are just the right size, because they fit on my shoulder, and being pleasantly plump, sometimes it's difficult to find a bag that will fit comfortably. I think it's a bag that any mature professional woman would love to have. Although the price may seem a little high, I consider it a bargain, since the quality is so much better than other so-called luxury handbags.
