Easy to use, durable September 5, 2010
Great product, easy to install and durable. My only complaint would be that it isn't long enough to reach to each back door but that is minor. It keeps all the mud and hair off of my seats after a nice hike with my dog and he can still curl up in the back with plenty of room. Easy to get in and out of the car for when I have less muddy human friends that want to ride in the back.

We have a 95lbs German Shepherd that sheds...a LOT! he would always sit in the back of our old car and after 2-3 days it would be one hairy mess!!
We recently got a new car and we got this hammock as a new-car-gift from friends!
It's really easy to install (you just secure it to the head rests) and easy to keep clean! We just use a duster brush to brush the hairs off! We haven't had any problems with a "chemical" smell coming from the hammock.
It works great for our big pup and he likes lounging in it while we drive for hours! We totally recommend it for people with a 4 door car! :D

IT fits great in my Towncar. Has a nylon feel to one side and has a rubber-ish liner on the other. I've used it a few times and it works great. It has 4 nylon webbing straps, with buckles (one in each corner) that hold it in place. The dogs don't mind at all and it keeps the car a lot cleaner. I Don't think it would stand an incredible amount of abuse, but for the price it's well built and seems like it will last. I've got 2 black labs and they haven't worn it out yet.

Just got back from driving 1700 miles using the hammock for my two dogs in the back seat. One is a 50 lb. Sheltie Mix and the other is an 80 lb. Golden mix and they did great. Plus, it seems to keep dog hair from getting everywhere which was an unexpected bonus. Great product and the low price just made it even better.

After getting at new car at Christmas, I just had to find something to keep the backseat decent. My two Briards (80 and 70 lbs.) sit together in the backseat of the Forester (used to be a Golf, this is spacious!). The hammock hangs easily between the seats from the headrests. It only took a few minutes to put it in. Now the dogs ride comfortably and their muddy paws stay where they belong. My dog looked at it a little funny when he first saw it but he jumped right in & seems to ride comfortably, if not more so, since he doesn't fall off the seat when I have to hit the breaks.
