great product June 10, 2010 The most importantthing to remember is proper prep to the tail lights. After sanding with 2000. Paper and dish detergent, acetone application, followed by a 2 to 3 light applications of vht and 2 to 3 Coats of clear coat it. Looks really really good.
VHT Nite Shades Spray Tint February 11, 2010 This spray tint really works well! I think its even easier to apply than tint overlay kits. The only thing is that you cant use the spray if its under 60 degrees outside or it wont turn out right. your lights will turn a grayish color and it wont look good. And for light visibility, its perfect at night but somewhat hard to see during the day if it is sunny. I wouldn't reccomend spraying any more than 2 layers if you want any light to shine through during the day. It is reccomended to use this for off-roading only but I have used it on my lights for about 2 months now and I haven't had any trouble with light not shining through enough and I havent been pulled over for it so I am rating it 5 stars.
Nite Shades December 13, 2009 I have used this product in the past and love it. No hassle with covers that don't stay flush and the light or start to fall off. It's easy to use. Apply in light layers, applying in heavy layers will do what any kind of spray will do is run. It looks awesome when it has dried. Perfect for blacking out tail lights, reflectors, and corner lights. I don't recommend putting this on your head lights, it looks good but makes it hard to see at night, and even worse at night in the rain.
headlight smoker! September 4, 2009 It works, nice! Does what it says it does! And by the way, I aint usin for offroad, but who is? No legal trouble yet lol. All you need is a coat. Well actually as I was putting the first coat on, I just went over it a couple more times, but it was all in the first coat. To see it on my CarDomain page, just Google Search: GL$WE$J
