My son loves this series March 4, 2010
My oldest son (who is now 18)has been reading this series for years. He loves it, that is about all I can say about the books.
I received it in perfect condition.
One Of The Best January 31, 2010
This book, simply put, was fantastic. I've been a Pendragon fanatic ever since The Merchant of Death, and every book continues to engross me. The only other time I've ever felt so anxious to know what will happen to fictional characters is in the Harry Potter series. This book was a great closing to the end of the series. DJ MacHale couldn't do better than this even if he tried.
I loved the series and this book, but i hated the ending. January 12, 2010
The books are great. If anyone came up to me and asked for a good series to read, I'd tell them to read this. It has great action and creates a lot of tension that keeps the reader into it. The only downfall was how the series ended. I'm sorry but you left us all hanging with that. Other than that, I highly suggest you to read this book/series!

Im a fan of all the pendragon books. They are totally awesome. This book was no diffrent. But you know how all the books start out with Bobby looking back and saying this is how it all began, well if the epilogue had been in the beginning I would have thrown the book down, before I had even started. Thats how much it felt off. So the story went in a diffrent direction towards the end but oh well, it was still good and deserved 5 Stars. That was until you read the epilogue. I actually went back and reread it twice and then thought. Wow. That was not what I expected. I hope that in future versions of Pendragon that the epilogue is not included. It just makes you go HUH, I read these books for how many years to end up with a.... a... since of blah. "This is not the way it was meant to be".

I read all of the Pendragon books and loved all of them. This one I read as fast as I could and loved all of it.... except the epilogue. Eventually I decided that this is what would have happened if none of the other things had happened. Though that's probably not right. One thing I like is that Mark and Courtney finally got to play a major role. The whole idea is so interesting. At parts I could guess exactly what would happen and at others I had no idea what was going to happen. Parts of it were so sad,but there was still the humor that was in all of the other books.
