Garmin 350 GPS Navigator December 2, 2008
This is the best purchase we have ever made. The Garmin has come in handy on many occasions. I would highly recommend this product.
 Can't find my brother-in-law address December 2, 2008
i have own this product for about a week, It worked fine until i typed my brother-in-law address, altough i now where he lives i wanted to test this GPS. It couldn't fine this address in particular, it says : No matches Found.This unit has the latest map updates. Its not accurate when it tells me where to make a turn with the voice, you better watch for the highlighted road in the screen. It tells you to make a turn ... lets say... " in 80 feet", when the road is just in front of you.
After you have selected and address to go, DO not change the volume or do anything else , because you will have to re-enter the address where you need to go.
It does not find this address:

But i like this: Fast satellite acquisition, Fast road calculation.
i won't give one star because i think there is not a perfect GPS, and for the price it does its job.
i will be aupdating this review as i use it some more...
Great Device December 1, 2008
If you are one to get "mis directed" this is the device for you! The prices are dropping - eventhough this is an older model it has all the bells, even more features then the newer models for the price!
Perfect and no drawback so far December 1, 2008
I bought my Garmin last month. Before my purchase, I already did a survey and realized that this model is a good one. Through my usage of more one month, it turns out to be perfect, from the display brightness to voice volume. This model did provide "safe mode" which means you can't operate the menu when the vehicle is moving. That's a very good reminding. Totally, I am very satisfied by this Garmin.

The Garmin nuvi 350, which I have only used for a few days now, does the job quite adequately and is easy to use. The hardware is very well designed. There are some small problems: 1) Some of the routes are clearly not optimal. In my home area, it sometimes takes me on routes that I would never choose because I know better. 2) It sometimes recommends U-turns when they are neither safe nor even desirable. 3) It sometimes tells you to turn (right, say) when it should be saying "keep" right, i.e. there is no actual turn at all. This could seriously mess you up in an unfamiliar area, which is when you really need to depend on the GPS. 4) It doesn't seem to have many business establishments (e.g. restaurants) in its database. In spite of these complaints, I am pleased with the item (hence the 4 stars) and would recommend it, especially since the price is still coming down. Garmin has discontinued it but hopefully will continue to support it with map and other updates.
