| Customer Reviews:
Tterrible customer assistance from Navtour November 29, 2008 Using product is easy and logical, navigation fairly accurate, BUT received the unit with broken car plug; wrote to NavTour for replacement piece and assistance with difficulty linking phone; response took days; wrote that the adapter came in pieces, representative thought I meant that it separated from the USB plug (scary) tried to clarify that it was broken. Have not heard from anyone for a week; writing every other day. Still no working car adapter plug which renders the unit useless when its function is specific to use in the car. Sign me, picture without a frame!
Good design but can be better November 25, 2008 The good - Nice design. Neat features. Pretty accurate. 3D maps. Bluetooth. QWERTY keys. Text-to-speech is descent sounding.
The bad - car holder "transmitter" is a joke, very flimsy. Slow to find satellite sometimes. Locks up more frequently than one would like. Accurate to find destination but slow to refresh/respond sometimes.
Overall - I gave it a 3 because I liked it but those things I mentioned could be better. The attachment from the unit to the window mount is 3 pieces (a clip that attaches to the back of the GPS, then a "transmitter" that attaches to that which then attaches to the window mount. Slow to refresh sometimes, it tells you turn too slow. I had a Garmin that told you BEFORE you turn (but of course once you get used to it, then you know to look out for the turn when you're closing in). The things I liked about it were mainly its aethestics. Bluetooth is a nice feature but the speaker wasn't loud enough. The e-compass was cool. Ability to play videos and view pictures is neat too.
