Best children's digital camera! January 7, 2009
This is the best Children's camera on the market! My 3 yo granddaughter couldn't stop taking pictures! 2 weeks later, she is still obsessed with this camera! The only thing you have to remember about this camera (as well as all children's cameras) is that the lighting needs to be adequate, otherwise, you don't get a good picture.
Well worth the money. January 6, 2009
I purchased this camera for a 6 year old girl and she loves it. The pictures are great under sunlight conditions but when it's a little dark the camera has a problem with lighting. There is a flash and it works well up close but not so good at a distance. This camera can take still pictures, Videos, Play games and add special effects to your photos. In the battery compartment there is an SD card slot for extra storage capacity. Use a smaller capacity SD card. 256MB. or so. The large ones such as a 1GB. just slow it down.
If you're looking for high quality pictures, this camera is not for you but if you're looking for a first camera that will entertain a young person for hours at a time, you can't beat this one.
Kid Perfect January 6, 2009
I bought this camera for my 5 year old daughter and she loves it. We went out of town over the holidays and she documented the trip with this camera. The ability to immediately see the pictures is critical and this camera does that very well. It is very durable as it made it out alive with a pack of children ranging in age from 1 to 5 and took several spills across the floor. It was a treat for me to see the trip from her perspective but she had a great time too! Great camera and I highly recommend it.
 Great starter camera for kids January 6, 2009
I bought these for my 4-yo and 6-yo and they haven't stopped using them. Both figured out how to take photos, videos, turn flash on and off, edit photos, and play the games with little or no help. They even connect them to the tv to show the videos. And so far they seem to be indescructible.
Built-in memory holds over 100 photos but the quality is not great. Outdoor photos typically look ok. Indoor photos usually need the flash. Kids tend to get too close to the subject and the flash washes out the photos. The resolution is low even compared with today's cell phone cameras. If they improved the resolution/photo quality this camera would be perfect.

This was the best thing I brought this Christmas... It's durable and works great... My 3 year old grandaughter has no problem using it... And the pictures are great...
