Our twin sons, elementary school aged, have truly enjoyed many of the incarnations of Webkinz. The hook for both the parents and children is in the adoption of the pet online. The children must play games and win points to purchase items from the store for their pets. It has some good fundamental concepts behind it, including that you need to earn money to buy things. It is much better than a dull old stuffed animal. My pharmacist has children and they are hooked as well. My only objection is that some adults try to collect popular limited editions and gouge the public on resale. Can we say Beenie Babies? That is no fault of the company, which I think is incomparable.
Shipping rate too high January 6, 2009
My son love his Wenkin Chocolate Lab. I however was appalled that you charged so much for your shipping charges.The item weight next to nothing therefore you should charge for shipping accordingly.

Great toy, excellent condition, shipped quickly. Very happy with this- it is my child's favorite toy, and is carried everywhere.
 Very Disappointing! December 28, 2008
We bought each of our children several Webkinz for Christmas. Unfortunately, the website is racked with server problems, leaving me with several disappointed kids. There also seems to be no easy way to contact support or leave feedback at their site.
Do yourself a favor, and stay away from these unless you want to be comforting your crying 3 year old for a present!

My daughter loves this stuffed animal; she takes it with her everywhere she goes. And she likes to play online as well
