 Great Toy January 5, 2009
I bought this doll for my niece as a birthday gift and she really loves this toy. The doll is incredibly durable and incredibly soft and will make a great addition to any child who loves Dora the Explorer.
 Don't Buy This Doll January 4, 2009
I bought this doll and my daughter hates it. It is ugly and a bit scary. There's a stitching going around the face and it looks like a scar. My daughter looked at the stitching around the face and gave it back to me. She said that Dora was hurt and I must make her better. Later I gave the doll back to her and she hid her face. I asked what's the matter and she said that Dora was scary. I took a real good look at the Dora doll and it is scary. My husband was right about the Dora doll when we took it out the box. He told me to get rid of it. I should have listened. There are other Dora dolls that are way better.

We just love our Dora doll, she goes everywhere with us. She love the washing machine too.....great to know when she gets a lil bit dirty!!!! Big hit in our house!!!!

I ordered this Dora doll with the little boots for my toddler who is about to turn two. The 16" Dora looks cute with the little Boots but does not feel very good. While her legs are almost empty of stuffing, her head and body feel overly firm and heavy. She is not like other large Ty animals that we have. I am considering returning the doll but am not able to locate a softer version for my Dora fan. This doll is the only one on the market that actually looks like the TV character. I am hoping that the other reviews of sattisfaction by the children holds true for my Dora fan.

This is a cute doll, and a very nice size. She is perfect for a toddler. The only complaint I have about her is that she has very ugly sewing on the side of her face. It is in a place that is readily seen and definitely takes away from the looks of the doll. I know it won't matter to the child I'm giving it to, but it irritates me to have spent money for a gift that looks ugly in one place.
