Hard to find Bakugan November 29, 2008
I purchased this for my 9 year old son. I bought it from Amazon as we had driven to approx. 10 different stores to get this hard to buy toy.
My son loves the Bakugan and it is toy that both my 9 and 15 year old will play together.
I don't understand how to play it but they do and the added bonus is some math thrown into the game as they have to add and subtract points depending on the Bakugan they use. It was a little more expensive than we have seen it for but the fact that I could get it delivered and no more driving was a great bonus.

My two boys (7 & 5) have been bugging me for weeks to get them more of these toys. They each bought one a few months using their allowance money. They have been a great incentive to get them to complete their house hold chores and complete their homework. So when they reached one of their goals, I took them to Target (then to Walmart, Toys R Us, etc.) but was unable to get them. They were out of stock in every store. They are pretty expense at these stores for such a small plastic toy (~$7-8 per Bakugan ball plus 1 gate card). So I checked Amazon. I paid $21 for 6 Bakugan balls and 6 gate + 6 ability cards on Amazon. Our set came with the highly sought after Drago ball. I know absolutely nothing about how to play the game or what each card means. I had to ask my 7 yr old a bunch of questions to write this review. I hand one Bakugan ball and 1 card to them out every time my boys reach one of their goals. Good luck.

My kids absolutely love these and are getting really good at adding up the numbers and figuring new strategies. They do not withstand too much abuse though as several of them have broken springs that open their parts. Toys for boys should definitely be more durable! Especially if the game you play with them involves rolling and throwing.
